ph3About the Job /h3 pThe Project and Governance Management Lead supports the Local Head of Operations in acting as a strategic and operational leader, serving as a co‑interface between Allianz Technology's central team, local Operations colleagues, relevant stakeholders and external partners for the AZT AZ Partners entity. The role helps ensure the effective deployment and run of global capabilities (processes, tooling, governance etc.) while tailoring execution to local customer needs and regulatory requirements. The role is instrumental in driving the branch's standardization and harmonization of Operations, combining strong executional leadership, technical expertise and a customer‑centric mindset. The role deputizes for the Head of Branch Operations in their absence, assuming full leadership responsibilities and decision‑making authority as required. The role operates within the COO function and reports functionally and disciplinarily to the AZT Head of Branch Operations Allianz Partners. /p h3What you do /h3 ul liSupport the Head of Branch Operations in establishing and leading the success of the Local Operations team, collaborating closely with AZ Technology global capabilities and aligning with key stakeholders across the organization. /li liOversee daily activities related to local COO capabilities, deputizing for the Head of Branch Operations in their absence. Act as a trusted second‑in‑command, ensuring continuity of leadership and consistent decision‑making across the Local Operations team. /li liSupport oversight of IT governance, managing project and service portfolios, and implementing global internal IT initiatives with local impacts. Execute key local Operations activities. /li liContribute to standardising and harmonising the Branch's Operations in line with AZ Technology's Global Operating model, policies and standards.
/li liSupport the effective reporting of local operational challenges and needs to Global for continuous improvement. Support the Local Head of IT in addressing client needs and issues related to operations. /li liMonitor local operations performance by setting and tracking KPIs. Manage activities in line with corporate calendars and support audit processes with accurate reporting. /li liDrive and support execution of global initiatives and programs locally, adopting best practices, innovative technologies and quality certifications. /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul liExperience in driving general initiatives and programmes locally, with a focus on adopting best practices and innovative technologies. /li liStrategic and operational leadership capabilities, with the ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on operational activities and to deputise effectively for senior leadership. /li liExceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a customer‑centric mindset, with a strong focus on tailoring execution to local customer needs and regulatory requirements. /li liSolid experience in vendor relationship management and real estate/facility oversight with competence in risk management, compliance and audit coordination. /li liAbility to manage and maintain local internal IT tools effectively, with proficiency in setting and tracking KPIs to monitor operational performance. /li liFamiliarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
