Established in 2007, the firm advises investment funds and products which have provided approximately €25 billion of debt capital to over 300 businesses. /ppPermira is seeking a company secretarial / legal operations professional to join its Madrid fund operations team, supporting the governance, legal and corporate administration of our private credit and private equity fund structures and SPVs. A permanent role supporting the continued growth of the business. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliOversee third-party administrators across secretarial, legal and regulatory functions for funds and SPVs, ensuring consistency and quality of output /liliSupport the Directors on legal and governance matters across Permira vehicles, including upholding good governance standards, preparing, reviewing and executing legal documentation, and attending board meetings /liliCoordinate closing and signing processes, liaising closely with deal teams and external legal advisors to ensure timely execution /liliDraft board and shareholder meeting minutes,
and review minutes prepared by administrators for accuracy and completeness /liliReview and maintain corporate instruments and share registers, ensuring records are accurate and up to date /liliCoordinate the incorporation and liquidation of fund structures, liaising with lawyers, banks and notaries throughout the process /liliManage ongoing KYC requests in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements Support ad hoc governance and corporate secretarial projects as needed /li /ulh3Desired Experience / Background /h3ulliStrong academic background, ideally with successful completion of a Law qualification /lili5–8 years of relevant experience with an asset manager or service provider administering AIFs structures /liliGood understanding of Luxembourg laws and regulations applicable to Alternative Investment fund structures (commercial laws, AIFMD, AML/KYC, etc.) /liliFluent and able to work in English /liliExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously across a variety of products and workstreams /liliHighly personable, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels /liliExcellent team-working skills; the role involves extensive interaction with both operational and investment professionals globally /liliAttention to detail and the ability to interpret and explain data /liliAn interest in the dynamics of alternative asset management, complemented by a broad understanding of capital markets and investment concepts /liliComfortable working within an international environment involving cross-office collaboration /li /ulpTo learn how we handle your personal data during the recruitment process, please review ourCandidate Privacy Policy .
