Responsibilities

-

- Provide technical support to customers regarding transmission network issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems related to transmission equipment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.

- Diagnose and address customer concerns related to transmission devices.

- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions.

- Plan, develop and perform network upgrades and updates.

- Engage in proactive analysis to prevent potential risks, ensuring network safety.

- Be able to participate in an on-call shift to handle urgent issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transmission engineering or related technical support roles.

- In-depth knowledge of transmission technologies including DWDM, Microwave (RTN) and Legacy PTN.

- Strong understanding of network protocols and standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage several tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for network troubleshooting. xqbhyrx

- Languages: English and Spanish fluent; be comfortable speaking in English with non-native people.
