As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Lighting Artist to join the team and help us in crafting the high‑calibre games our fans have come to expect. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCreate high‑quality and visually consistent lighting for in‑game environments and cinematics, working closely with the art director, art leads, and cinematic team. /li liSupport the overall lighting direction by maintaining consistency across scenes and locations, balancing artistic intent with gameplay clarity and performance. /li liCollaborate with technical artists and other departments to follow established lighting workflows, tools, and standards. /li liOptimize and troubleshoot lighting setups to ensure strong visual results within performance budgets across multiple platforms. /li liContribute to team knowledge by sharing insights, supporting peers, and continuously improving personal craft. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of experience working on lighting for real‑time environments and/or cinematics, ideally within game development. /li liA strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating high‑quality lighting work in real‑time, with a good understanding of light, color, composition, mood, and storytelling.



/li liHands‑on experience with lighting in a real‑time engine (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary engines). /li liSolid understanding of PBR workflows, real‑time rendering constraints, and how lighting interacts with materials and post‑processing. /li liGood communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. /li liWillingness to work full‑time on‑site at our Barcelona studio. /li liFamiliarity with color grading, tone mapping, and post‑processing techniques. /li liBasic experience or interest in non‑realtime lighting workflows (e.g., film or offline rendering). /li liBackground or interest in photography, cinematography, or visual arts. /li liExperience collaborating closely with other artists in a production environment. /li /ul h3Company Culture /h3 ul liAn international team of over 550 employees spread across 7 studios around the world, each of which has their own unique qualities and maintains a small‑studio feel. /li liAn open, collaborative environment where ideas are welcome and encouraged. /li liA managerial team consisting of highly experienced game developers at the top of their fields. /li liSharing hobbies and passions with like‑minded colleagues. /li liAn inclusive environment with many activities organized by the studios or the employees. /li liCommitment to making the best game possible for the fans, including listening to community feedback. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
