Ensures fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed in accordance with Company standards and all regulatory food safety practices. Promotes customer service and sales building practices. /p h3Essential Duties And Responsibilities /h3ulliMaintains full stock conditions on produce and floral display racks, tables, and shelves. /liliOperates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items. /liliEnsures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold. /liliInspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards. /liliCollects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.



/liliAssists fellow partners and customers by responding to price check questions and exchanging and/or locating product. /liliPromotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives. /liliProvides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints. /liliMaintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. Complies with all Company policies and procedures. /liliPractices high sanitary standards for handling raw and uncooked food products. /liliCleans, assembles, and prepares equipment for operation, and examines to check working order under supervision. (Partners must be 18+) /liliTakes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools. /liliUses sharp tools for opening boxes. Cuts and trims product to ensure high quality presentation and appearance. /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills And Abilities /h3ulliAbility to operate manual or electric pallet jack. /liliAbility to safely operate and maintain department equipment. /liliAbility to handle objects carefully to avoid damage to items, people, vehicles, and property. /liliAbility to safely work with sharp objects such as knives, box cutters, etc. /liliAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. /liliAbility to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment. /liliAbility to learn new technology systems, methods and processes using a variety of educational resources. /liliAbility to work adaptable schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
