Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. /p pWith our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers. /p pWe’re not about selling products – we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo. /p h3Location Salary /h3 pLocation: Barcelona or Madrid, Spain. /p pSalary: €51,000 - €62,000, incentive awards tied to performance. /p h3PR and Communications Manager for Expansion Markets /h3 pIf you love driving ambitious PR strategies, have experience doing this in Spain as well as other European markets and are passionate about what Monzo is doing, this could be the role for you. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupporting the day‑to‑day running of the PR press office in Spain and other markets across Europe, including BAU activity and major campaigns. /li liWorking with the team to execute our go‑to‑market PR strategy for Monzo in future European markets. /li liManaging PR activity for both Monzo Business and consumer product launches, shaping how we communicate our value and impact.
/li liHaving a deep understanding of how to scale and localise campaigns across multiple markets. /li liManaging reactive media inbounds and any crisis situations. /li liDriving high‑impact PR and reputation‑building campaigns in Spain and other expansion markets. /li liCollaborating cross‑functionally with product, commercial, and operations teams to uncover and amplify compelling PR opportunities. /li liBuilding strong relationships with key media and journalists while managing incoming press enquiries. /li liUsing data and insights to inform and adapt stories in our international expansion efforts. /li liSupporting relationships with external PR agencies. /li liStaying ahead of industry and relevant policy trends and developments to inform strategy and maintain thought leadership. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience managing PR in Spain and across multiple European markets. /li liAbility to scale and localise PR activity across Europe. /li liProven track record of securing impactful media coverage for a business audience. /li liExperience with traditional and non‑traditional media (podcasts, blogs, newsletters, social, influencers).
/li liExceptional written and verbal communication skills. /li liFluency in Spanish and English.
