This role blends a strong service ethos with hands‑on knowledge of Spanish payroll and employment legislation, ensuring full compliance with labour law and statutory requirements. Whilst being the local expert in Spain, the role will collaborate closely with an international HR team. /ppWe operate a hybrid working policy, with at least 3 days per week in the Madrid office. /ph3Key responsibilities and Authorities /h3ulliManage Spanish payroll with external provider /liliAct as the first point of contact for employees and manages via the HR ticketing system, owning resolution from intake to close queries within agreed SLAs /liliEnsure compliance with Spanish labour law, tax and social security regulations /liliPrepare, review, and manage employment offers, contracts, and contract changes /liliOversee time attendance, absences,



parental leave, and sickness administration in Workday /liliCoordinate statutory reporting and audits /liliAct as the main contact for payroll, benefits, and HR administration queries /liliSupport employee lifecycle administration (onboarding, changes, offboarding) /liliLiaise with tax advisors, payroll vendors, and external authorities when required /liliChampion a continuous improvement mindset - proactively flag friction points in existing processes and propose fixes /liliPartner with the wider People Operations and People Business Partner teams to ensure consistent, joined up support across the employee journey /li /ulh3Technical and cross Competences (Optional) /h3ulli3-5 years' experience in payroll and HR administration in Spain /liliSolid working knowledge Spanish labour law and payroll processes and regulations /liliExperience with HRIS / payroll systems (Workday is a plus) - comfortable working with a ticketing/case management tool (desirable) /liliExperience managing HR administration in other European countries is a plus /liliFluent English is mandatory /liliExcellent organisation and attention to detail, proactive, focus on excellence, strong communications skills and able to work autonomously /li /ulh3Travel Requirements /h3pIrregular travel, once or twice per year to UK or within Europe. /ph3Pay and benefits /h3pAt Nadara, we're committed to creating an environment where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.
