Join us on this exciting journey and you'll help shape how this company works, with real ownership from day one. /ph3Job Description /h3pReporting to the IT Director, Own the architecture, the key technical decisions and the canonical platform API for a new digital energy retail platform — Spain first, built for multi-country rollout. /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliOwn the overall architecture for the platform, documenting key decisions in ADRs and setting coding standards and architecture patterns used across the squads. /liliOwn the canonical experience API and the anti-corruption layer— the design authority that keeps legacy structure, identifiers and state from leaking into customer-facing services. /liliOwn the country-abstraction model so the platform runs as one deployment with country as configuration, protecting the scalability of the global core as new markets are added. /liliLead the design and guide implementation of mobile apps, APIs, backend services, integrations, data flows, and frontend composition patterns. /liliLead on the use of code-gen AI tools within an Agile framework, setting technical standards, implementing skills, and defining specs. /liliLead technical design reviews and establish quality gates across backend,



frontend, data, and QA activities. /liliPartner with the Product Owners and the Platform Engineer to balance speed, technical debt, security, regulatory needs, and long-term platform scalability. /liliCoordinate with the legacy platform team, third-party providers (billing/switching, energy-asset connectivity) and internal architecture/security teams. /liliMentor engineers and promote modern engineering practices: AI code gen, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, documentation, and secure coding. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliProven experience as Principal Developer or hands-on Solution Architect in a digital product environment with a large customer base. /liliDemonstrable experience designing anti-corruption layers or strangler-pattern integrations over an existing or legacy platform, keeping a clean domain model independent of the underlying system. /liliExperience working with the latest AI software development tools such as Claude Code/Codex, skills and specs. /liliStrong knowledge of building cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns and integration design. /liliStrong, current hands-on experience with a backend stack such as Java/Spring or ASP.NET for building web services, APIs and web apps /liliSolid understanding of how mobile and web frontends (e.g. React Native, Next.js) consume APIs, enough to design composition patterns and BFF boundaries for them. /liliExperience designing for multiple countries or markets from a single platform core. /liliExperience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security-by-design, and production operations. /liliProfessional written and spoken English is required.
