As an Optimization Scientist at SITA, you will design and implement optimization engines to automate disruption recovery for airlines. You’ll own the end-to-end disruption-recovery solver pipeline from mathematical formulation to production code. You’ll translate airline rules into solver models and validate outcomes against real disruption cases, collaborating with Solutions Experts and engineering teams. This role offers impact through scalable, AI-powered disruption management and direct contribution to integral airline operations. You will grow domain knowledge and shape optimization capabilities that support a mission-critical product.

• Own the disruption-recovery solver pipeline end-to-end from formulation to production code

• Manage solution quality and runtime KPIs, balancing quality and solve time

Responsabilidades
• Strong foundation in mathematical optimization and operations research (LP, MILP, network flow)
• Hands-on experience with solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX or SCIP
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; production-ready coding; Git familiarity
• Ability to translate complex business rules into algorithms
• Bridging OR theory and production code; self-directed and quick to learn new domain knowledge
• Detail-oriented xqbhyrx with precision in debugging solver behavior
• Systems thinking: impact of formulation choices on solver performance
• Degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field
• MSc or PhD is a plus
