ppWe are looking for a bPostdoctoral researcher in fruit pathology /b to join theb Postharvest /b bProgram /bteam, based in bLleida (Fruitcentre). /b We offer the opportunity to be part of an organization with a dynamic, collaborative work environment focused on professional development. /ppThe Postharvest Program aims to improve the quality of fruits and vegetables throughout the postharvest chain by developing innovative and sustainable strategies to control diseases, physiological disorders, and quality losses during storage. /ph3Tasks and Responsibilities /h3ulliTo perform research activities for the designated projects (national and/or international) and for contractual research with private companies in topics related to fruit pathology. /liliTo be up to date with the state of the art research on the related topic as well as to transfer results and knowledge to stakeholders and end-users. /liliTo contribute to positioning the Postharvest Program as a group of excellence through regular peer-reviewed publications, contributions at national and international congresses and supervision of PhD and researchers. /liliTo work in close collaboration with other IRTA researchers, as well as with external academic, institutional, and industrial partners. /li /ulh3Required qualifications and experience /h3ulliBSc in Biology, Agronomy or related field with a PhD in Plant and/or Postharvest Pathology. /liliProven experience in fruit pathology and a relevant record of peer-reviewed scientific publications in this field. /liliProven experience in epidemiology and control of diseases. /liliProficiency in English,
