Informs guests of specials and menu changes, suggestively sells, and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service. /li liTakes food orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff. /li liPrepares and delivers beverage orders. /li liServes courses from kitchen and service areas promptly, and garnishes items with proper presentation prior to serving. /li liTotals bill and either accepts payment or refers guest to cashier. /li liAssists in stocking workstation, bussing tables and resetting tables. /li liProcesses guest’s orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis. /li liCommunicates with other employees to ensure guest satisfaction with the food and service. /li liAnswers the phone and takes orders when necessary. /li liMaintains neat and orderly dining area. /li liUses Tips to Tips. /li liFills salad bar crocks when needed. /li liResponsible for being in proper uniform. /li liAssists with keeping bathrooms clean. /li liHelps out in other areas of the restaurant when needed. /li liResponsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists. /li liOther duties as assigned by Company Management.



/li /ul h3Requirements (Minimum requirements for entry into position) /h3 ul liEntry-level position. /li liOne-year restaurant experience preferred, but not required. /li /ul h3Skills and Characteristics Required /h3 ul liMust be organized, versátil, and detail-oriented. /li liStrong communication skills, both written and verbal. /li liMust be customer sensitive and possess a sense of timing. /li liMust be pleasant, personable and friendly. /li liMust understand and have a sense of urgency. /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 pMust be able to stand for long periods of time.
