ph3Description /h3 pWTW Procurement is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead and execute procurement activities across Spain and Portugal. This role is responsible for driving value delivery, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting operational excellence across multiple categories. You will work in close partnership with Italian business stakeholders and collaborate extensively with Procurement teams in the UK, US, France, Germany and Mumbai. Key responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring full compliance with WTW policies and relevant Portugal/EU regulatory requirements. /p pThe successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills. You will have demonstrable Category Management experience, including spend analysis, contract analysis, and the ability to build and execute category plans and pipelines. Proficiency with Ariba Sourcing and Contract modules is essential. Category expertise in at least one of the following - IT, Professional Services, or Facilities Services is highly desirable. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Sourcing Category Management /h3 ul liPartner with business leaders to understand future demand, upcoming initiatives, and project pipelines. /li liFacilitate cross‑functional alignment to ensure sourcing strategies reflect business needs. /li liTranslate business requirements into clear sourcing plans and category opportunities. /li liLead complex RFPs, RFIs and negotiations across Spain and Portugal and the wider EU region.
/li liConduct internal and external benchmarking to identify value opportunities and commercial gaps. /li /ul h3Supplier Management /h3 ul liBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure delivery, innovation, and performance. /li liLead Supplier Performance Management activities, including QBRs, scorecards, corrective actions, and risk mitigation (as required). /li liDrive supplier consolidation, rationalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li /ul h3Contracting Compliance /h3 ul liWork closely with Legal, Finance and Compliance on contract drafting, renewals, and commercial risk mitigation. /li liNegotiate and manage contracts in accordance with WTW Procurement policy and Italian/EU regulatory requirements. /li liEnsure all procurement activities comply with ESG, risk management, and governance standards. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Engagement /h3 ul liAct as the primary procurement partner for Spain and Portugal business units, providing commercial insights and strategic guidance. /li liBuild strong cross‑functional relationships with Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Legal teams. /li liPresent sourcing plans, savings updates, and supplier performance insights to senior management. /li liRepresent Procurement in regional governance forums or audits. /li /ul h3Financial Operational Performance /h3 ul liOwn savings pipeline management for assigned categories.
