ppbLocation: /b Madrid, Spain - Hybrid working model (2 days a week onsite) /p h3About the Opportunity /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced Regional SOC Team Lead to take ownership of the leadership, development, and operational performance of a Security Operations function within a global organisation. /p pThis is a senior cybersecurity leadership position combining strategic direction, people management, and hands‑on technical expertise. You will lead a team of SOC analysts, ensuring they have the guidance, processes, and capabilities required to deliver high‑quality security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection services. /p pWorking closely with general security teams and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping regional security operations, improving processes, developing talent, and ensuring the organisation remains prepared to respond effectively to evolving cyber threats. /p pThis role requires an experienced security leader who can balance operational delivery with long‑term strategic improvement and act as a trusted advisor to technical and executive stakeholders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead, mentor, and develop a team of SOC analysts across different experience levels. /li liProvide technical guidance, coaching, and career development support to team members. /li liConduct performance reviews, establish objectives, and support ongoing professional growth. /li liManage team structures, schedules, and resource planning to maintain effective 24/7 security operations coverage. /li liBuild a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. /li /ul h3Security Operations Strategy Delivery /h3 ul liDevelop and execute regional SOC strategies aligned with wider business and security objectives.
/li liDefine and monitor operational KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators. /li liAct as a senior escalation point for complex and high‑severity security incidents. /li liProvide leadership and coordination during major incidents and critical response activities. /li liContinuously improve incident response processes, playbooks, runbooks, and operational procedures. /li liEnsure security capabilities remain effective against emerging threats and changing attack techniques. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Engagement /h3 ul liAct as the regional security operations representative for business units and IT leadership. /li liCommunicate security risks, incidents, trends, and operational performance to technical and executive audiences. /li liCollaborate with global security functions including threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response teams. /li liSupport alignment between regional security priorities and global cybersecurity initiatives. /li /ul h3About You /h3 pYou are an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in Security Operations and a proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams. /p h3You will bring /h3 ul li5+ years of experience within Security Operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role. /li liExperience managing SOC teams operating in shift‑based or 24/7 environments. /li liProven experience mentoring,
developing, and retaining cybersecurity talent. /li liStrong technical knowledge across security technologies including: /li liSIEM platforms /li liEDR/XDR solutions /li liIDS/IPS technologies /li liThreat detection and response tooling /li liA strong understanding of modern threat landscapes, attacker techniques, TTPs, and incident response methodologies. /li liExperience leading security investigations and managing complex incidents. /li liExcellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. /li liStrong organisational skills with experience creating documentation, procedures, and operational frameworks. /li liA strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improving security capability and operational maturity. /li /ul h3The following would be advantageous /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline. /li liIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent leadership qualifications. /li liTechnical certifications such as SANS GIAC certifications (GCIA, GCIH, or similar). /li liExperience building or scaling SOC functions within a global organisation. /li /ul h3What You’ll Be Joining /h3 pThis is an opportunity to join a global security environment where you will have the autonomy to influence security operations, develop talented analysts, and make a meaningful impact on an organisation’s cyber resilience. /p pIf you are an experienced SOC leader who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership and strategic improvement, we would welcome your application. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
