Your main responsibilities will include: /pulliScheduling regular meetings with students and providing personalized advice. /liliCommunicating with students proactively and effectively through the students’ preferred method of communication. /liliAssisting students in establishing realistic and attainable academic goals. /liliMonitoring students’ academic progress; analysing progress reports; determining eligibility and satisfactory progress towards their degree; identifying current and potential needs or problem areas. /liliIdentifying students at-risk of academic failure, and developing and implementing strategies to include success plans and referral to appropriate resources. /liliMaintaining student files and records; documents and all pertinent student information regarding changes to student status. /liliInterpreting and explaining institution policies and procedures; participating in preparation of orientations and presenting academic information to new students during orientation. /liliProvide counselling for students working with difficult courses or life challenges that may interrupt degree completion. /liliAssisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. /liliManaging calendars and schedules. /liliCollaborating on projects to help the campus growth. /li /ulpstrongABOUT YOU /strong /ppYou’ll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, demonstrating the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
