As Actuarial Lead in Madrid, you will blend pricing expertise with business partnership to support new business pricing and monitor underwriting performance across Europe. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data into actionable insights that help achieve the regional business plan. The role focuses on improving pricing and underwriting processes while advancing your actuarial qualifications. This is a growth role with exposure to a rotational programme and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare pricing for new business opportunities within risk appetite and sustainability goals
• Monitor vigente vs. expected performance and provide clear business-facing analyses
• Gather and interpret data from diverse sources to identify trends affecting performance
• Translate financial projections into actionable metrics for finance, regulatory, IT, and other teams
• Suggest improvements to pricing,
underwriting, data quality, reporting, and workflows
• Lead or contribute to team projects and support knowledge sharing and peer review
• Manage multiple priorities while developing actuarial expertise and qualifications
Responsabilidades
• Progressive actuarial and/or underwriting experience with understanding of actuarial concepts and insurance business performance
• Fluent Spanish and English communications
• Degree in Mathematics, xqbhyrx Actuarial Science or related field, or demonstrated relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and data tools such as SQL or similar, and Power BI
