ppLandscape Maintenance Worker I /p h3Position Summary /h3 pThe Landscape Maintenance Worker helps maintain and enhance the District’s parks and landscaped areas to ensure they are safe, attractive, and welcoming to the public. This position supports CPRD’s mission by contributing to the care of diverse outdoor spaces through routine maintenance and attention to detail. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform routine landscape maintenance of various parks, field, and grounds. /li liPerform basic maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment. /li liApply soil amendments and other materials as needed. /li liIdentify common landscape issues such as weeds and plant health concerns, and take appropriate action. /li liIdentify and report hazards, damage, or maintenance needs. /li liAssist with seasonal tasks and support landscape improvement projects. /li liAssist with general park upkeep. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications Physical Demand /h3 ul liMust be at least 17 years of age and possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License. /li liAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. /li liMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly,



and be able to operate general landscape equipment and vehicles. /li liRequires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching for extended periods of time. /li liPreferred, but optional: Ability to identify plants, decorative pruning skills, experience with irrigation systems, and/or experience with hardscape installation. /li /ul h3Work Schedule /h3 pThis position typically works 15-25+ hours per week, and may occasionally work up to 40 hours, with shifts starting at 7:00 am.
