Our partner is looking for a Systems Controls Accountant based in Spain. /ppThis role focuses on strengthening financial systems, processes, and controls within a fast-growing integral technology environment. /ppYou will lead the optimization of accounting workflows, automation initiatives, and reporting accuracy through advanced system solutions. /ppWorking across finance, operations, commercial, and technical teams, you will help create scalable and reliable financial processes. /ppThe position combines technical accounting expertise with systems knowledge, data-driven thinking, and process improvement. /ppYou will play a key role in improving transparency, compliance, and efficiency across the full financial lifecycle. /ppThis is an opportunity for a technology-focused accounting professional to influence how modern finance teams operate at scale. /ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliLead the configuration, optimization, and integration of financial systems, including NetSuite and connected business platforms. /liliDevelop and maintain automated workflows, reporting solutions, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve financial visibility. /liliImplement best practices for data governance, security, compliance, and system controls. /liliSupport system maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. /liliManage testing environments, including sandbox accounts, to ensure smooth deployment of system changes and enhancements.



/liliCollaborate with finance, legal, sales operations, product, and technical teams to align processes and improve end-to-end automation. /liliDrive improvements across the financial lifecycle, including revenue operations, reporting, and accounting processes. /liliEnsure appropriate application of accounting standards and maintain strong internal controls over revenue transactions. /liliResearch accounting policies, prepare technical accounting documentation, and support external audit activities. /liliMentor finance team members and contribute to the development of scalable accounting practices. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliProfessional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent. /liliStrong knowledge of IFRS and relevant accounting standards related to SaaS, software licensing, and service-based revenue models. /liliBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. /liliProven experience working with ERP, revenue recognition, CRM, CPQ, or similar business systems, with NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred. /liliExperience configuring, integrating, and improving financial systems and workflows.
