Our product SCiLS Lab is an internationally successful software for visualization and analysis of mass spectrometric imaging data. /p h3About the Role /h3 pTo strengthen the SCiLS Lab development team we are looking for a Junior Software QA Engineer RD (m/f/d). /p pIn our software development, we rely on current technologies and agile development processes, giving you room for independent and creative action. /p pWe offer a diversified job in a small, interdisciplinary team with flat hierarchies and short decision processes. You will strengthen the leading position of the SCiLS Lab software, closely interacting with product management and the rest of the development team. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAs part of our software development team, you will focus on identifying and reducing risks to the quality, stability, and performance of the innovative data analysis and visualization software SCiLS Lab. /li liYou will be responsible for the specification and implementation of automated and manual test processes for both functional and non-functional tests. /li liYou will participate in the design and specification of new features, especially with regard to testability and non-functional requirements.
/li liYou will systematically document and analyze software malfunctions and support the team in correcting them, helping to maintain our high standards of robustness, performance, stability, and code maintainability. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or comparable knowledge and skills. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liYou have good knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes in the context of agile software development. /li liYou have experience with automated GUI testing tools such as Ranorex, Squish, or similar. /li liYou have knowledge in software development using Python, R, and/or C++. /li liYou are familiar with professional software development tools (e.g. version control system, issue tracking, build system, automated testing). /li liYou are characterized by high quality standards, as well as creativity, perseverance, and a structured, systematic working method. /li liYou enjoy familiarizing yourself with a complex system and have good analytical skills to understand the interrelationships and error patterns. /li liYou show a high level of social competence and enjoy actively contributing to your team. /li liYou have a good command of English, both oral and written. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices. /p h3Salary Ranges /h3 pSalary range starts at 33.000 euros. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
