As our new Senior Medical Science Liaison, you’ll play a key part in this mission. /p pThe Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a hybrid key position within the Spanish Novocure organization based in Madrid and working on the field. The position will be responsible for providing a variety of external customers with medical and scientific information on the appropriate utilization of specific NOVOCURE products and with more general information about disease state. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liLeading the Medical Communications assets management in support of marketed and pipeline indications in oncology (CNS and GI) /li liDevelopment, fact-checking, quality assurance, and updates for Medical Affairs materials, such as congress materials, Slide Libraries, and other resources as required /li liSupports the management and development of other materials, including websites, slide decks, trainings, and disease backgrounders, as requested /li liAssists with the identification, sourcing, evaluating and hiring of vendors as required by departmental project needs. Participates in vendor pitch presentations as appropriate /li liSupport the management of vendor relationships for own projects and contributes to strong internal team communication regarding status /li liEstablishes project timelines and ensures timelines are communicated and met /li liMaintains records of source publications and fact-checking reference documents for all materials developed or revised /li liSupports medical accuracy review and fact-checking for Promotional Review Committee process as requested. Participates in PRC meetings as required /li liAssists in developing and executing a congress plan for medical presence at key oncology meetings /li liContributes to other competitive intelligence efforts for approved indications and the pipeline /li liAssists in the development/implementation of appropriate policies, SOPs, business practices, work instructions /li /ul pUnderstands and applies the current status of industry standards and practice and ensures activities are in compliance with company policy and standards /p pThis role is also serving as scientific interface between the Company and the healthcare professional communities with respect to communicating about Novocure’s clinical development plan and other research and development plans,



to develop teaching materials as appropriate, facilitate investigator-sponsored research on Novocure marketed and investigational indications. /p pThe Senior MSL will take an important role on the team, serving as a resource and mentor to field team members. The Senior MSL will be responsible for the education of the HCP. /p pMedical and scientific expertise will be maintained through review of scientific literature, attendance at assigned medical meetings, appropriate scientific congresses and conferences and self-learning. The Senior MSL will work closely with cross-functional partners including the Italian Business Team. /p h3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liHealth Care Professional (HCP) interaction and development. This will include developing, maintaining and extending contacts relationships with various HCPs and providing them with credible, fair balanced, scientific information about NOVOCURE products, research activities and product development. /li liManagement of his/her territory and associated field based activities: /li liHealthcare provider education on Novocure products and disease awareness /li liFacilitation of investigator-sponsored trials /li liProviding HCP feedback and competitive intelligence to the company regarding the therapeutic area and Novocure products /li liAttendance and coverage at assigned Medical Meetings, congresses, organization of advisory boards, etc. /li liSupport through medical communications and other related medical activities including, but not limited to: studies, trainings, and medical information, the field promotional activities. /li liDelivering presentations to scientific leaders or decision makers. /li liEnsuring 100% compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, local and international rules and regulations. /li /ul h3About You /h3 h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAdvanced scientific or health related degree preferred. Pharmacist (PharmD or RPh), Medical Doctor (MD),



or other clinical/scientific experience /li liMinimum Master’s degree and/or Health care professional background will be considered. /li liCombined oncology or industry experience is a strong plus /li liAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar role (IST facilitation, KOL development). /li /ul h3Knowledge /h3 ul liMust have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills /li liMust demonstrate fluency in articulating scientific concepts and data /li liExcellent interpersonal skills /li liMust have good judgment, ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment /li liSolid decision making abilities /li liMust be able to handle objections and manage issues presented by HCPs. /li liPassionate, self-starter who takes initiative /li liDetailed oriented, highly organized and highly versátil /li liThis position will require an individual with an ability to work independently, to complete projects with limited supervision and to converse on a peer to peer basis with health care professionals. /li liMust work well in large and small teams, ability to work remotely /li liAbility to travel 60% time /li liComfortable with occasional after-hours and weekends availability. /li liAutonomous, hands‑on, and open mind set /li liHigh ethical standards /li liSolid working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. /li liSpanish and English is a must, any other language a plus /li /ul pNovocure is a company with a powerful mission, to extend the lives of people living with some of the most aggressive forms of cancer.
