ph3About the role: /h3 pThe Senior QE Engineer is responsible for defining and driving quality assurance across the product area they are primarily aligned to. They lead integration testing and automation efforts, establish best quality practices, and work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to enhance the reliability and scalability of our payment platform. They identify and prevent issues early in the development process, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle. /p h3What you’ll be doing: /h3 ul liDrive the test strategy for your product area, owning both functional and non-functional quality outcomes. /li liDesign, build, and maintain automated test suites (Robot Framework, Python, and other languages) integrated into our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI). /li liOwn the integration testing layer end-to-end. From test design through execution, defect resolution, and coverage improvement. /li liTest REST APIs thoroughly: contract validation, error paths, authentication and authorisation boundaries, schema compliance, and performance edge cases. /li liMonitor and analyse automated test results, ensuring timely feedback to development teams and minimising false positives. /li liOwn defect reporting and management, tracking issues through to resolution and verifying fixes. /li liAct as the quality point of contact for your area, managing test risk and maintaining recovery plans for release‑critical scenarios. /li liLead root cause analysis on defect escapes and drive changes to prevent recurrence. /li liIdentify opportunities to remove waste, improve shift‑left practices, and continuously evolve tools and testing approaches. /li liCoach developers and junior QE engineers in testing techniques and quality mindset.



/li liParticipate in hiring and onboarding to build a strong QA community at Enfuce. /li liRepresent Enfuce QA to internal stakeholders and customers when needed. /li /ul h3What you’ll bring: /h3 ul liProficient in API testing - REST, contract validation, error states, and auth boundaries. /li liExperienced in test automation using Robot Framework and Python, building maintainable suites a team can own and extend. /li liCompetent in at least one additional language or framework (e.g. Java/REST Assured, TypeScript/Playwright). /li liFamiliar with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab CI). /li liStrong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk detection and coverage gaps. /li liConfident communicator with both technical teams and customers. /li liExperienced documenting test plans, defect reports, and quality trends clearly. /li liPassionate about quality: both learning and sharing QA knowledge. /li liComfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. /li liPerformance testing tools (k6/JavaScript, Gatling, JMeter). /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ul liExperience in payments, card issuing, acquiring, or payment processing. You understand authorisation, clearing, settlement, and card lifecycle flows. /li liExperience with PCI‑DSS scoped environments. /li liConsumer‑driven contract testing (Pact or similar). /li liCloud or container environments (AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
