- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering or related field
- Strong Python for data processing and automation
- Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction and performance optimization
- Practical experience with PySpark for distributed data processing
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and/or streaming data
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehouse/lake architectures
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data environments (e.G., Spark)
- Familiarity with Parquet, ORC, JSON and Avro data formats
- Strong communication skills in cross-functional and international teams
- Fluency in German (mandatory)
