We are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative transportation solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the entire project lifecycle. /p pWabtec Iberica is a leading provider of maintenance and overhaul services for Spanish railway operators, supporting a broad range of onboard train systems, including doors, brakes, HVAC systems, pantographs, as well as Platform Screen Doors (PSDs). /p h3How will you make a difference? /h3 pAs a bQuality Manufacturing Engineer /b, reporting to the “Production and Supplier Quality Manager”, you will ensure compliance with quality requirements during installation, commissioning, and start-up activities for railway projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to corporate standards, contractual requirements, industry regulations, and customer expectations through process audits, inspections, control plan monitoring, and non-conformance management. /p h3What will your typical day look like? /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with procedures, work instructions, technical specifications, and quality standards during installation and assembly activities. /li liVerify the implementation and effectiveness of Quality Plans, Control Plans, commissioning activities and Inspection Test Plans, and monitor and control inspection activities. /li liEnsure traceability and proper maintenance of quality records associated with completed work. /li liPlan, conduct, and document on-site process audits to verify compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and approved procedures. /li liIdentify non-conformities, process deviations, and opportunities for improvement, and drive corrective and preventive actions through closure. /li liEnsure functional, operational, and performance testing is conducted according to approved procedures and specifications. /li liRecord, analyse,



and track non-conformities identified during installation, testing, and commissioning activities. /li liParticipate in root cause analysis using quality methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D, and QRQC. /li liVerify the effectiveness of corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. /li liParticipate in quality review meetings and report key quality indicators, risks, deviations, and action plans. /li /ul h3What do we want to know about you? /h3 ul liEngineering degree /li li+2 years experience in Quality (eg. customer, warranty, production) /li liKnowledge of Quality Tools (Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, 8D, FTA, QRQC, SPC) /li liKnowledge of Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO TS 22163 “IRIS”) /li liProfessional knowledge of Spanish and English (French and German considered a plus) /li liCustomer-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liGood communication skills, charisma, leadership and ability to influence others /li liCollaborative and teamwork oriented /li liAvailability to work on-site and travel according to project requirements /li liAvailability to work night shifts, weekends, and operational windows when required /li /ul pLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
