The Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR), Research
Group on Rare Anaemia Disorders, is offering a vacancy for a
Communication and Dissemination Junior Manager, who will support
the communication and dissemination activities across the group's
portfolio of research projects and platforms, with the aim of
increasing their visibility, impact and outreach. The Research
Group on Rare Anaemia Disorders focuses its research strategy on
the development and validation of innovative methodological
approaches improve the characterization of patients affected by
rare haematological diseases, advancing personalised medicine
through multi-omics diagnostics, artificial intelligence models and
standardized sharing of cross-border data. The group holds a
leading role at both the national and European levels on rare
disease research: coordinating the Spanish national programme on
rare anaemia disorders, INTEGRA, two major European data
infrastrctures in rare haematology Diseases ( ERN-EuroBloodNet ),
and the European data infrastructures in rare haematology — the
RADeep Registry ( Rare Anaemia Disorders European Epidemiological
Platform ), and the ENROL Registry ( European Rare Blood Disorders
Platform ), covering both malignant and non-oncological
haematological diseases. In line with our strategic objectives, we
are looking for a creative and proactive Communication and
Dissemination Junior Manager to join our team. The successful
candidate will manage the group's social media channels and digital
campaigns, develop engaging communication materials (visual assets,
infographics, videos and presentations), publish content on the
group's websites, coordinate with external service providers, and
support the organisation of events and educational activities,
working closely with the research team, the postholder will help
translate scientific achievements into clear, engaging and
impactful communication outputs for a wide range of audiences. Main
responsabilites and duties: Supporting the Dissemination Manager in
implementing the communication and dissemination strategy, the
Communication and Dissemination Junior Manager will: Manage the
projects’ social media channels, including content planning,
copywriting, scheduling, publishing and monitoring performance.
Draft, edit and publish news articles and other content on the
group’s project websites. Create engaging communication materials,
including visuals, infographics, presentations, flyers and
promotional resources. Produce and edit short videos and multimedia
content for digital communication campaigns and events. Coordinate
website updates with the external website provider and follow up on
technical requests, improvements and content changes. Organise
meetings, prepare agendas, PowerPoints presentations and minutes.
Collaborate closely with the team to understand their vision,
goals, and priorities, and translate them into effective
communication materials.



Stay up to date with emerging
communication technologies, trends, and best practices, and
proactively identify opportunities to leverage new tools and
platforms. Support the planning and organisation of in-person
events. Support the organisation and follow-up of educational
activities. Coordinate requests and follow-up with external
suppliers and service providers (e.g. merchandising providers,
website developers, etc.). Support the preparation and submission
of dissemination activities such as abstracts or publications.
Education and qualifications: Required: University degree in
Communications or a related field. Fluency in English (both spoken
and written. Desirable: Master’s degree in Communications, Public
Relations, Journalism or a related field. Experience and knowledge:
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
English. Experience in communication, dissemination, digital
communications or related roles. Experience managing social media
channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant
platforms), including content planning, scheduling and performance
monitoring. Experience creating engaging communication materials,
including flyers, infographics, presentations and social media
visuals. Basic video editing skills, including the ability to
produce short videos, interviews and promotional content for
digital platforms. Proficiency in communication and graphic design
tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Canva and video editing software).
Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the
ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Desirable: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience. Ability
to work effectively in an international, multidisciplinary and
fast-paced environment. Experience organising online and in-person
meetings, preparing agendas, PowerPoint presentations and minutes,
and monitoring follow-up actions. Excellent interpersonal and
stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with
healthcare professionals, patient organizations and external
partners. Labour conditions: Working hours : Full-time (37,5 hours
per week). Starting date : As soon as possible. Gross annual salary
: Remuneration will be determined by experience, skills and
responsibilities and aligned with the Collective Agreement pay
scale. Contract type : Open-ended contract linked to the project.
