In this role you will support the Acquisitions team in Spain and Portugal, driving analysis and execution of investment opportunities. You will work closely with Fund Managers, the Research group, and asset management colleagues to build value through rigorous underwriting and strategic business planning. The position offers exposure to Madrid or Barcelona, with a focus on sourcing, evaluating, and advancing opportunities across a diversified portfolio. • Filter and evaluate the acquisitions pipeline and support internal approvals and transaction execution
• Model asset-level underwriting, run sensitivity analyses, and translate results into investor-facing presentations
• Collaborate with Fund Managers and Hines Research
• Develop asset-level business plans with local asset management, construction, finance and tax teams
• Source new investment opportunities aligned with Funds and JV partners
• Support Fund Managers in preparing investor meetings and fund-level initiatives
• Maintain strong relationships with Fund Management teams and JV partners for transactions and asset management
• Provide general support to senior team members in decision-making and execution
• Assist in asset management or divestment processes if required
Responsabilidades
• University degree from a high-calibre institution with strong analytical aptitude
• Highly numerate with proficiency in translating real estate investment concepts into Excel models
• 5+ years' experience in the Spanish real estate market, preferably in an investment firm, real estate advisory, or consultancy
• Interest in real estate transactions across office, residential/living, retail, logistics, and alternative niches
• Understanding of real estate investment concepts and investment management
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, with ability xqbhyrx to produce detailed underwritings and investor presentations
• Spanish native speaker preferred, fluent in English, experience in London or English-speaking markets is desirable
• Immediate start preferred
