This role combines cutting-edge financial modeling, strategic analysis, and collaboration with experts to assess the feasibility of nuclear projects. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain nuclear-specific financial models, including LCOE and OCC, tailored to project conditions. /li liTranslate international nuclear financing structures (e.g., Contract for Difference, RAB) into the Swiss regulatory and energy market context. /li liAssess financial viability for nuclear technology and site configurations under varying financing scenarios. /li liDefine investment conditions and identify financing framework parameters to close investment gaps. /li liCoordinate with internal teams (energy economics, corporate finance, legal, regulatory affairs) to align market and regulatory insights. /li liProvide clear and actionable financial analyses to support decision-making at the programme leadership level. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEducation: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees in energy finance or infrastructure investment are advantageous. /li liExperience: At least 8 years in large nuclear infrastructure programmes (developer, utility, advisory, or financing roles). /li liTechnical expertise: ul liDeep knowledge of nuclear project cost structures (OCC, LCOE,
FOAK adjustments). /li liProven ability to model nuclear-specific financial risks (construction risks, regulatory changes, market sensitivity). /li liFamiliarity with nuclear financing instruments (CfD mechanics, RAB models, state guarantees). /li /ul /li liSkills: ul liWork independently and structure complex analyses from first principles. /li liCommunicate complex financial findings to non-specialist audiences. /li liHandle ambiguity and build analytical frameworks in early-stage programme environments. /li liPragmatic approach to data limitations, making uncertainties explicit. /li /ul /li liLanguages: Fluent English required; German is advantageous but not mandatory. /li /ul h3About the team /h3 pYou will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with experts in energy economics, finance, and regulatory affairs.
