This group develops transceiver products from narrowband to ultra-wideband for aerospace defense, instrumentation and communication applications such as radar, 5G, LEO satellite, and smart phone testers. These products create a mobile, connected, and safe future. In this position you will work directly with IC design, product engineering, software, marketing, and field applications engineers to enable customers to move fast from evaluation to prototyping with ultra-wideband transceiver designs, to ensure a positive customer experience and win new design-ins. /p pThis position is ideal for an energetic,



motivated and application minded engineer looking for new challenges in algorithms and support for the cutting edge ultra-wideband transceiver technology space. The successful candidate will join a product applications team with deep domain expertise in A/D and D/A converters, DSP, algorithms, RF, high speed interface and transceiver-based designs. /p h3Key responsibilities will include: /h3 ul liPromote and take a leading role in supporting both the released transceiver products and new products under development at lead customers. /li liCollaborate with Systems, FPGA and Software Engineers to define, architect and implement reference designs to accelerate the adoption of ADI solutions. /li liDrive the concept/simulation and translate customer system requirements into product definition and prototype design for key applications such as radar, digital beamforming, 5G/6G etc. /li liPerform signal chain analysis, circuit/system modeling and system performance evaluation. /li liCreate technical media (datasheets, application notes, training materials and technical seminars/webinars) that promote awareness, effectiveness and ease of use of Analog Devices’ products. /li /ul h3Key Qualifications /h3 ul liMasters or phD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering field. /li liExperience with MATLAB and Python for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation. /li liFamiliar with at least one of the following areas: ul liRadar digital beamforming, adaptive signal processing etc.



/li liFunctions and algorithms in the industry's highest end FPGAs or ASICs for cellular radio and wireless standards (LTE, LTE-A, 5G NR, WIFI6/7 etc). ORAN/LowPHY experience is desirable. /li liRF signal chain design and characterization, board level development /li liSerial communication protocols including Ethernet, JESD204B/C/D, or USR/XSR. /li /ul /li liExperience with ARM and FPGA microcontroller systems, boot processes, drivers, interrupts, memory systems, compiler, and debug tool flows (preferred). /li liHands‑on experience in lab testing and characterization for evaluation of silicon and RF systems (preferred). /li liTeam player with strong self-motivation and collaboration skills. /li liOpen mindset with drive for success and a solid work ethic are valued more than any particular skill. /li /ul pFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
