ppFlying Bark Productions is a dynamic and innovative animation studio dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character animation and storytelling. We are working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Ghostbusters animated series, Stranger Things animated series, and our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. /ppA 3D animation-focused demo reel is a requirement for all artist positions. Please provide links to YouTube or Vimeo; Google Drive links will not be accepted. /ppThe role requires working remotely from Spain, with availability to start at 7 AM and finish at 4 PM. /ppThe 3D Animator is responsible for bringing life to the characters, enhancing the story and audience connection, maintaining creative and technical animation requirements as directed by the Animation Director, and meeting production and shot schedule deadlines. /ph3About you /h3ulliMinimum 4+ years of production experience in 3D animated films and/or animated episodic content. /liliDemo reel showcasing excellent facial performance body mechanics. /liliPortfolio of mature, stylized, anime-inspired animation (Spiderverse, Entergalactic, Arcane, The Witness, etc.) preferred; 2D animation experience is a bonus but non-essential. /liliStrong sense of narrative storytelling, comic timing and emotive visual language. /liliExcellent experience with character animation including lip‑sync and key posing in a CG animation environment.



/liliSolid experience and understanding of Maya in a production-based environment. /liliSolid knowledge of animation workflows, character rigs and storyboard interpretation. /liliExperience creating animated sequences of characters, objects and cameras. /liliAbility to collaborate with the animation team to achieve the EPs vision. /liliProficient with keyframe animation and strong fundamentals such as posing, timing and pacing. /liliAbility to rough out animation blocking for review and then revise and polish to completion. /liliStrong understanding of the principles of animation. /liliPassion for animation and storytelling. /liliAbility to take direction from a Supervisor and be team oriented. /liliAbility to take feedback from director and lead animator and apply to shots accordingly. /liliAbility to take and successfully interpret a verbal or visual creative brief. /liliExcellent communication skills and willingness to share information in a team environment. /liliAbility to consistently meet deadlines. /liliAbility to be versátil and responsive to change. /liliAbility to work independently as well as under direct supervision. /liliFast problem solving and implementation of solutions. /liliExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. /liliEligible to work in Spain.
