ppWe are looking for a practical and autonomous Mechanical Product Designer to join the product development team at FluxPose. /p pThis is a hands-on product design role combining mechanical and industrial design, CAD modelling, prototyping, testing, tooling development, and design for manufacturing. /p pDuring the initial phase of the role, your main focus will be developing accessories and mechanical integrations for our current FluxPose products. This will predominantly include adapters for virtual reality headsets and controllers, mounting systems, wearable accessories, and other components that allow FluxPose technology to be securely and accurately integrated into existing devices. /p pThe role will also include the design of tooling, fixtures, assembly aids, and other practical equipment for our production environment. /p pAs production of our current products becomes more established, the position will progressively expand into the development of more complex accessories and future FluxPose products. These could include new wearable devices, controllers, tracking accessories, mechanisms, enclosures, and other physical hardware products. /p pYou will work directly with physical products: measuring and scanning their geometry, developing CAD models, manufacturing prototypes, testing them, identifying problems, and iterating until the final solution is robust, ergonomic, accurate, and easy to install. /p pWe are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, work with a high degree of autonomy, make practical design decisions, and carry ideas from an initial concept through to a tested physical solution. /p pSpanish is not required, although some knowledge of Spanish would be appreciated. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign CAD adapters, mounts, brackets, attachment systems, and accessories for integrating FluxPose technology into third‑party products. /li liWork with virtual reality headsets, gloves, controllers, straps, trackers, wearables, and other electronic devices. /li liMeasuer and 3D Scan physical objects to obtain accurate reference geometries. /li liDesign parts that fit correctly with existing products from manufacturers such as Meta Quest, Valve, HTC Vive, Bigscreen, and others. /li liPrepare designs optimised for FDM, resin 3D printing and injection molding. /li liManufacture, assemble, test, and physically validate prototypes. /li liIterate on designs until they are robust, comfortable, accurate, and easy to install. /li liDocument designs, revisions,

assembly criteria, and installation procedures. /li liCollaborate with the wider hardware and product teams. /li liDesign tooling, fixtures, assembly aids, and other equipment for our production environment. /li liGradually contribute to other projects involving product design, tooling, manufacturing, and production process improvement. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liPractical experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360. /li liA portfolio of personal, academic, or professional projects. /li liAbility to design mechanical parts around existing products and geometries. /li liExperience or practical knowledge of FDM and/or resin 3D printing. /li liAbility to assemble, test, and critically evaluate physical designs. /li liStrong attention to detail, particularly regarding tolerances, fit, fastening methods, and assembly. /li liA practical mindset and the ability to perform multiple iterations on the same design. /li liA good working level of English. /li liAvailability to start immediately or within approximately one month. /li liNo specific degree is required, provided that the necessary knowledge and practical ability can be demonstrated. /li /ul h3Highly Valued Experience /h3 ul liExperience designing adapters, enclosures, mounts, brackets, or accessories. /li liExperience using 3D scanners. /li liExperience designing parts for plastic injection moulding. /li liKnowledge of tolerances and common manufacturing processes. /li liFamiliarity with materials such as ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU, nylon, resin, or polycarbonate. /li liBasic knowledge of ergonomics. /li liExperience designing mechanical parts for electronics, wearables, or consumer devices. /li liFamiliarity with virtual reality, trackers, headsets, gloves, controllers, or positioning systems. /li liExperience with design for manufacturing and assembly. /li liA degree or equivalent training in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. /li liA driving licence and access to a vehicle. /li liA maker mindset: build, test, identify problems, correct them, and iterate.

/li /ul h3Career Development at FluxPose /h3 pThe initial objective of the role will be to develop the integrations and adapters required for FluxPose’s current products over an estimated period of approximately one year. /p pOnce This Phase Is Completed, And Depending On Performance, Technical Ability, Personal Interests, And The Needs Of The Company, There Will Be Opportunities To Move Into Other Responsibilities Within FluxPose, Including: /p ul liMechanical and product design. /li liDevelopment of new accessories and devices. /li liDesign of parts for mass production. /li liDesign and development of tooling and machinery. /li liProduct prototyping and validation. /li liImprovement of assembly and production processes. /li liDesign for manufacturing and industrialisation. /li /ul pWe are therefore looking for someone who can solve a specific short-term need, but who is also interested in learning, taking on greater responsibility, and growing alongside the company. /p h3Working Arrangement /h3 pThe role is primarily intended to be on‑site, as it involves frequent hands‑on work with physical devices, tools, 3D printers, scanners, prototypes, and validation equipment in our laboratory. /p pHowever, for an exceptional candidate with particularly strong skills and relevant experience, we are open to considering a different or more adaptable working arrangement. /p pA partially remote arrangement may also become possible over time, depending on the responsibilities of the role and the status of the projects. /p h3What We Offer /h3 ul liDirect involvement in the development of a real hardware product that will be used by thousands of people. /li liWork on projects involving virtual reality, wearables, and immersive technology. /li liA small, young, highly technical team with a high degree of autonomy. /li liAccess to our own laboratory, tools, 3D printers, scanners, prototypes, and testing equipment. /li liThe opportunity to quickly see and test the physical results of your work. /li liParticipation across multiple stages of product development, from concept and prototyping through to manufacturing. /li liFlexible working hours. /li liCompetitive salary based on experience and ability. /li liSalary reviews linked to responsibility, professional growth, and impact. /li liGenuine opportunities to grow into other areas of product design and development within FluxPose. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
