The Procurement Specialist drives the execution of category strategies, vendor discovery, and cost-optimization initiatives. Working in partnership with the Procurement Manager, this role autonomously manages market trend analysis, identifies new global supplier pools, and leads the refinement of category cost structures. Prospect, screen, and onboard potential integral suppliers independently, ensuring they meet gategroup's stringent quality and capacity standards.

Market Intelligence & Trend Leadership: Proactively track global market trends, commodity shifts, and innovations, translating data into strategic recommendations for the category.
Landing Cost Ownership: Lead the analysis and optimization of the Total Landing Cost structure, collaborating directly with logistics and finance to eliminate hidden supply chain costs.
Represent the company at international trade shows and supplier site audits to source new products, evaluate capabilities, and build direct business networks.
Continuously analyze spend data within assigned categories to identify cost variances, executing optimization plans to maximize category margins.
Contract & Agreement Management: Negotiate and manage framework contracts, commercial terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), aligning with the Procurement Manager on final approvals.
Supplier Performance & KPIs: Drive supplier performance reviews by monitoring key metrics (OTIF, quality, cost), independently addressing deviations and driving continuous vendor improvement.
SAP Master Data Management: Masterfully handle the creation, maintenance, and updates of new material references, part numbers, and info records within SAP to ensure seamless operational workflows.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (ADE), International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative commercial roles (attitude, will
~ Basic experience or strong interest in international trade and global sourcing.
~ Prior exposure to calculating costs or analyzing logistics data (understanding what "landing cost" means).
~ Any hands-on experience using Excel and ERP systems (like SAP) is a big plus, but a fast-learning mindset is key.
~ Advanced mastery of MS Excel (data modeling, cost breakdowns) and hands-on proficiency in SAP ERP (specifically Master Data creation, MM module, or e-Sourcing tools) is highly required.
Solid knowledge of foreign trade operations , customs regulations, and international logistics.
Full professional proficiency in English (fluent spoken and written corporate communication).
A self-driven professional focused on delivering category savings, meeting deadlines, and executing projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to influence stakeholders, pitch cost-saving initiatives, and lead firm but fair commercial negotiations.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with global vendors and cross-functional internal teams. xkdbapo
