You will engage in simulation studies for specific Wind Power Plants, ensuring compliance with grid codes and enhancing model performance. Your contributions will not only drive our technology forward but also support our mission for sustainable energy. /p h3How You’ll Make An Impact /h3 ul liDevelop and optimize electrical simulation models using various tools, including Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, and PSS/E. /li liUtilize automatic code generation tools to enhance model efficiency. /li liTest model performance, analyze results, and assess capabilities against Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) standards. /li liUnderstand grid code requirements and their implications on simulation models. /li liDocument your activities through design reports, validation reports, and guidelines, while developing automation pipelines for model verification and deployment. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liA passion for renewable energy and a commitment to leading change. /li liA bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical simulation model development.
/li liProficiency in simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, and PSS/E, with additional experience in TSAT being a plus. /li liFamiliarity with programming languages like C/C++, Fortran, Python, or Modelica is advantageous. /li liStrong understanding of grid compliance simulation studies and overall software development, along with knowledge of wind turbines and power plants. /li /ul h3About The Team /h3 pYou will be part of a dedicated and well-functioning team focused on advancing our electrical simulation models for Siemens Gamesa Wind Turbines.
