pbrAt Factorial, we're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to help us tackle our domain's challenges and ensure our product development reaches the next level. While our stack is Ruby on Rails for the backend and React/React Native for the clients, proficiency in these is not mandatory. We believe that good aptitudes and a hunger for learning work best. /ppbstrongThe Role: /strong /b /ppAs an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of your team while also being accountable for the health and growth of your product. /ppbstrongAbout you: /strong /b /pulliYou have managed people before and have bstrongexperience guiding engineers to successful careers /strong /b (ideally even above you!). /liliYou have actively participated in hiring processes, bringing top talent to the organization. /liliYou are comfortable bstrongcooperating with other teams /strong /b and building the fundamentals of service. /liliWhen you disagree with a peer, you engage in a Socratic exchange, prioritizing finding a solution over winning arguments. You convince or get convinced. /liliYou have 5+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer or in a similar position. /liliYou have bstrong2+ years of experience leading teams /strong /b . /liliYou have a deep understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL, and similar) and can create integrations with other backend systems. /liliYou believe that consistency, performance, quality, and scalability are more than buzzwords and have a deep real meaning that needs to translate into products and services. /liliYou can't imagine yourself not writing code at all.
