and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines that empower satellite operations and image processing. You’ll work alongside experts working in multi-disciplinary fields including satellites, space operations, image processing, data pipeline and geospatial analytics to co-develop AI solutions that extract actionable insights from SATLANTIS’s high-resolution imagery. /p pThis is a full-stack applied AI role: from ground-based pipelines for advanced image processing to lightweight onboard models optimized for in-orbit inference. /p pYou’ll play a central role in scaling SATLANTIS’s AI capabilities across missions, shaping the future of next-generation missions from space. /p pbYour main responsibilities will include: /b /p ul liBuilding AI pipelines for the ground segment, training and deploying deep learning models for super resolution, atmospheric correction, methane detection, crop and forestry classification, and more. /li liDesigning scalable workflows, automating data ingest, tiling, and inference on both on-prem and cloud environments (Docker/K8s). /li liApplying AI/ML to a wide variety of technical challenges across the company, from engineering to operations. /li liCollaborating with Image Processing, Flight Software, and Systems Engineering teams for end-to-end product delivery. /li liSharing knowledge through code reviews, workshops,



and SATLANTIS School sessions for interns. /li liDriving AI adoption across the company: identifying internal use cases, prototyping AI-powered tools and automations to boost productivity across teams /li /ul h3bWhat will set you up for success? /b /h3 ul liYou hold a BSc/MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar fields. /li liYou have experience designing and deploying ML models in production or scientific workflows. /li liYou are proficient in Deep Learning frameworks. /li liYou have a strong understanding of model evaluation, generalization, and uncertainty estimation. /li liYou are curious about and have hands‑on experience with modern AI tools (coding assistants, agentic workflows) and how to apply them. /li liYou have an English level of at least B2, allowing you to contribute to international projects including ESA and NASA. /li /ul h3bYou’ll stand out even more if you bring: /b /h3 ul liSkills in C C++ programming and GNU/Linux OS. /li liHands‑on expertise with CUDA/C++ for servers and embedded GPUs. /li liExperience with imaging algorithms and spatiotemporal models. /li liKnowledge of satellite EO data formats (GeoTIFF, NetCDF). /li liYou are familiar with geospatial libraries: Rasterio, Xarray, GDAL, etc. /li liKnowledge of radiometry, photogrammetry, or OGC APIs STAC metadata. /li liYou feel comfortable working with CI/CD tools. /li liContribution to open‑source ML or EO projects /li /ul h3bReady to launch your AI career into orbit? /b /h3 pIf you’re passionate about AI, space missions, and turning data into actionable insights for Earth observation, this is your opportunity. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
