ppWe require an experienced and motivated Procurement Associate to join the Commercial function of Ocean Winds. /p pThe role requires proactive contribution to commercial aspects of development, consenting, engineering, construction and, maintenance, facilitating competitive processes and commercial management of certain contracts. /p pThe individual will be responsible for ensuring that all contracting and procurement matters are in accordance with legislation, ethical practices, Ocean Winds’ procurement policies and tender requirements. /p pThe role will be based at our Madrid office. You should expect some travelling to meet with suppliers and occasional visits to other geographies. /p h3MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES /h3 h3PROCUREMENT PROCESSES /h3 ulliSupports and leads the implementation of contracting processes in coordination with the different project departments. /liliSupplier identification and subsequent phases of negotiation, assessment and awarding /liliAssure that information to make the SAP purchase orders is available according contract conditions approved and signed /liliPrepare and maintain planning of sourcing activities. /liliCAPEX and budget management. /li /ul h3SUPPLIERS MANAGEMENT /h3 ulliDevelops and ensures a solid relationship with the related suppliers across the supply chain.
/liliAnalyses trends and forecasts within the marketplace with respect to suppliers, price/cost, quality, availability and technological change. /liliUnderstand supplier’s capability to deliver products and services according to requirements. /liliIdentifying new actors in the industry. /liliPrice evaluation and normalization for different geographies /liliCost modeling and procurement inputs for new leases and bids (in coordination with Business Structuring department) /liliGather information and reporting on market constraints and relevant changes in industry /li /ul h3ACADEMIC BACKGROUND /h3 h3LANGUAGES /h3 ulliAbility to read, write and speak English fluently. /liliSpanish knowledge is preferred. /li /ul h3PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE /h3 ulliBetween 1 and 3 years.
