In this role you will lead CHEP’s Iberia carrier network to deliver cost-efficient, high-service transport solutions at scale. You will own and develop relationships with 150+ carriers, coordinating with Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams to optimize capacity and performance. You’ll drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and coach a small team to deliver consistent, high-performing transport solutions. This is a chance to shape regional logistics strategy in a globally recognized, sustainability-minded company.

• Ensure carrier capacity across all Iberia lanes (contracted and spot market)
• Manage carrier performance (service, cost, compliance and systems)
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers at owner and director level
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives and transport efficiency improvements

• Lead and develop a team supporting carrier management activity
• Align Iberia operations with European standards and frameworks
• Collaborate with carriers to develop and implement cost-effective transportation solutions that meet service level expectations

working closely with commercial teams
• Monitor industry trends by visiting key carrier sites, attending events, and networking with representatives
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive sustainable change
• Lead the implementation of best practices and ensure comprehensive training for team members to drive efficiency
• Monitor carrier performance and hold regular reviews to ensure service and cost optimization
• Foster an inclusive, innovative team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional development

Responsabilidades
• Proven experience in transport, logistics or carrier management within complex, multi-site environments
• Strong understanding of the xqbhyrx Iberia carrier market and transport operations at scale
• Track record of cost optimisation, supplier management and performance improvement
• Experience working cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations and Commercial teams
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix environment
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in the transportation and logistics sector
• Languages: English and Spanish
