ph3People Operations Shared Service Specialist /h3 pWe are currently seeking a bPeople Operations Shared Service Specialist /b to join our vibrant People Operations team. The role involves various aspects of People Operations administration and coordination, supporting employees and managers from both hotels and offices across Northern Europe. /p pbKey tasks responsibilities: /b /p ul liProviding first‑level support and guidance to people managers on People Operations policies, procedures, and programs through a ticket system; escalating complex or sensitive issues to the Manager, Shared Services or the relevant Country People Operations Business Partner. /li liProviding administrative support before selection and after appointment across the employee life cycle, including posting and closing job adverts, initiating and reviewing job changes in Workday, producing compensation and contract offer letters, securing country‑specific legal requirements, and analysing recruitment feedback (using Workday, ATS or other RHG tools). /li liWorking with People Managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, preparing and sending onboarding documents, checking compliance forms, setting up the Workday onboarding pathway, sending announcements, and gathering onboarding feedback. /li liFacilitating the performance management process by cascading objectives and targets to people managers, initiating performance objective setting in Workday, and generating reports and dashboards on performance outcomes. /li liMaintaining employee records and files in compliance with legal and organisational requirements, including Data Protection legislation relating to privacy,
confidentiality, security and protection of personal data. /li liAssisting colleagues with similar or related tasks when necessary. /li liPerforming any other People Operations tasks assigned by the Manager, Shared Services or Country People Ops Business Partner related to benefits administration, leave management and other People Ops topics. /li /ul pbQualifications: /b /p ul liExperience in the hotel or other service industry is desirable, together with formal education or proven working experience in employment law and HR administration. /li liProficiency in Workday or similar HRIS applications and Microsoft Office. /li liKnowledge of HR best practices, policies and regulations in one or more Scandinavian countries. /li liService‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. /li liAttention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality. /li liFlexible and able to multitask in a fast‑paced service environment without compromising quality. /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. /li liFluency in English and Icelandic, with conversational proficiency in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian. /li /ul pbType of employment: /b Full‑time.
