Family Learning Mentor (Part-Time)pstrong Location: /strong Ciudalcampo, Madrid, Spain /pp We are looking for an exceptional strong Family Learning Mentor /strong to support the educational and personal development of three wonderful children aged strong7, 10 and 12 /strong . /pp This is strong not a nanny position /strong and it is strong not a traditional tutoring role /strong . /pp We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and believes that helping children develop lifelong learning habits is far more valuable than simply achieving good grades. /pp This is a long-term, part-time opportunity for an educational professional who wants to make a meaningful and lasting impact. /p Your Mission p Your role is not to teach school subjects. /pp Your mission is to help the children become: /pulli Independent learners /lili Organised and responsible students /lili Curious and critical thinkers /lili Confident learners who genuinely enjoy education /li /ulp English will be the primary language of communication throughout the afternoon. /p Responsibilities ulli Collect the children from school. /lili Communicate in English throughout working hours. /lili Support homework organisation, projects and exam preparation. /lili Teach effective study techniques and learning strategies. /lili Develop organisational and planning skills. /lili Help the children prioritise tasks and manage their time effectively. /lili Encourage responsibility and ownership of their own work. /lili Answer questions and explain concepts whenever appropriate.



/lili Guide them towards finding solutions independently rather than providing answers. /lili Encourage reading, curiosity, discussion and intellectual exploration. /li /ul This Is NOT a Traditional Tutoring Position p An essential aspect of this role is understanding what we are strong not /strong looking for. /pp We are strong not /strong looking for someone who completes homework, dictates answers or solves school exercises. /pp Instead, we are looking for someone who teaches children strong how to learn /strong . /pp This includes helping them to: /pulli Build consistent study habits. /lili Organise their own workload. /lili Manage deadlines effectively. /lili Develop problem-solving skills. /lili Ask thoughtful questions. /lili Build confidence in their own abilities. /lili Become increasingly independent over time. /li /ulp We believe these life skills are among the most valuable gifts that education can provide. /p Required Qualifications ulli Excellent spoken and written English with b native-level proficiency /b . /lili Degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Psychology, Pedagogy or another relevant discipline. /lili Experience working with children or adolescents.
