We are looking for a Trade Finance Execution Specialist to support Bunge's international trade operations. This role requires a professional with hands-on experience in Letters of Credit (LCs), trade finance processes, banking coordination, and international trade documentation.
Please note: Ideally you will be based in Barcelona or surroundings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs).
- Structure, review, and process LCs in line with banking and trade requirements.
- Monitor payment flows and support financial execution of international trade transactions.
- Act as the main point of contact for banks and financial institutions.
- Review and validate shipping and logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and banking partners to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience in Trade Finance, with strong knowledge of Letters of Credit.
- Understanding of international trade documentation and payment processes.
- Experience liaising with banks and financial institutions.
- Knowledge of Bills of Lading, UCP, and Incoterms.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
