Location:
Hybrid role working in our Barcelona office up to 3 days per week

What you will be doing:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including matching booking numbers, entering the invoices into the accounting system including coding invoices, and processing payment
Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to, including vendor approval and invoice processing
Responsible for imaging and record retention of all accounts payable documents, including invoices and payment confirmations
Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships
Identify and implement process improvements
Assist team with gathering support for audits, including pulling documentation
Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices
Research and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned

Key Relationships:
USTO Finance Team in the US, Spain, and India
USTO Suppliers in the US, Europe, and select other countries





What we are looking for:

Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
Willingness and ability to work in office 4-5 days per week in first month and 2-3 days per week thereafter
Willingness and ability to work some overtime in peak season (May through October)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Desired experience and background
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
2-3 years of related accounts payable work experience
Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
High proficiency with 10-key and keyboarding
Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
