We are looking to hire an Internal Auditor to join our team in Madrid. We work under a hybrid work model (50% remote work) In this role, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager. Assist in conducting both financial and processes audits across the whole Cosentino Group. Due to this, availability for international travels is needed (approximately 30% of the time). - Assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan.
- Provide input during the planning of internal audits, ensuring that the objectives and the relevant risks are identified.
- Verify the true and fair view of the financial statements as well as the reasonableness of the budgets.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of the internal controls identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Verify the quality and integrity of the information to ensure proper decision-making.
- Work closely with business units at all levels to identify improvement opportunities that help Cosentino in optimizing processes and strengthening internal controls.
- Monitor audit progress (against expected timelines, scope, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports, identifying issues, root causes and issuing audit recommendations to mitigate/address deficiencies while adding value to Cosentino.
- Conduct the follow-up of the recommendations issued during the audits.What you need to succeed

Education: Economics master’s degree, business, and administration master’s degree. Experience: 1 - 3 years of professional experience in internal audit departments, external audit big 4 firms or financial departments (experience in bank and insurance sectors will not be considered). Knowledges:

- English: fluent (C1 – tested during the process)
- Availability to travel 30% of the time.
- Professional proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge in SAP (desirable)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution is desirable
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Desire and drive to learn, grow, and have impact quickly as part of an expanding company.
