Whether you have an academic background or just a lot of experience is less important to us, what we are interested in is someone with a good track record in similar positions. To be successful in this role you likely have 4 - 7 years experience in similar role.

Since we are a fully remote company , it’s a plus plus if you have worked in a remote organisation previously.

Wearing the hat of a Senior Data Analyst





Life is always exciting as a Data Analyst! This is what it would look like at Saltside:

- You will be working closely with business stakeholders, engineers as well as the leadership team and with the help of your data analyzing powers, understand their data and reporting needs. You will then shape them into requirements and use your social skills to work with data them and deliver them.
- You will be writing SQL queries to extract necessary data and present the information in various formats - Tableau, Excel, and/or PowerPoint. And with your experience, analyze the results to generate business insights that will aid in effective decision-making for Saltside.
- You will be developing reports and dashboards in Tableau as per stakeholders’ requirements.
- You are also expected to be the ambassador for data within the organization and spread your knowledge to other teams (operations, marketing, etc.) bu helping them retrieve and analyze data.
- An added perk of this role is that you will be groomed to become a Data Product Manager. Therefore this role offers good career growth and a clear path towards it. To get there, you must have a solid grasp of the business, be able to coordinate across multiple technical and non-technical teams,



have the ability to identify gaps in data and be able to manage multiple stakeholders.

Compatibility Check

Our search ends when we find someone with:

- Stellar Tableau skills: we expect you to be a Tableau Wizard , knowing in and out and every trick. For this to be real, you will have to have at least 4+ years of experience in producing reports & dashboards using Tableau Desktop & Online.
- Proficiency in SQL: we expect you to have the ability to write SQL statements for general RDBMS.
- Good data analysis skills: we expect you to have an aptitude to understand the data and be able to communicate the story behind the data.
- Strong written and oral communication: we expect you to have exemplary story writing & storytelling skills as you will be communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Inclination towards the Data Product Manager role

Familiarity with one or more of the following might help, but even if you do not, do apply if you think you’re right for the job!

- Experience in setting up data tracking, especially with Google Tag Manager
- Exposure to analytics/automation tools such as Google Analytics, WebEngage, and Adjust
- Understanding of AWS, especially Redshift and S3
