Join Rocket Lab as a Head of Marketplace – Lead a new unit from the ground up!

Rocket Lab is a leading growth marketing hub helping apps scale sustainably worldwide. Now, we’re building a brand-new Publisher Monetization business line — and we need a Head of Marketplace to lead it from the ground up. This is a unique chance to create impact, own strategy and P&L;, and build a team around you.

The role

The Head of Marketplace will have full ownership of strategy, P&L;, partnerships, operations, and team building — shaping a high-impact business unit from scratch.

What You’ll Do

- Strategy & Leadership

- Define and execute the global monetization strategy (CTV, in-app, mobile web).

- Own P&L; and ensure profitable growth.

- Build and mentor a high-performing team.

- Publisher Development & Partnerships

- Acquire, negotiate, and grow relationships with premium publishers and mediations.

- Drive long-term revenue growth through innovative deals (PMP/PG, curated marketplaces).

- Yield & Operations

- Lead yield optimization: pricing, floor strategies, fill, and eCPM.

- Oversee onboarding, QA, trafficking, reporting, and support.





- Technology & Product

- Operate and configure adtech stack (adservers, SDKs, Prebid, mediation layers).

- Ensure compliance and technical hygiene (ads.txt, sellers.json, privacy, IVT prevention).

- Analytics & Reporting

- Build forecasting models and dashboards for visibility.

- Drive continuous optimization with data-driven insights.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with:

- +7 years of experience in publisher monetization (SSP, Exchange, Curation),

- Hands-on knowledge of adtech protocols,

- Proven track record in scaling publisher yield

- Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory); Portuguese is a plus.

You should combine commercial acumen with technical expertise and leadership skills
