- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of key contracts with suppliers, partners, and clients, covering areas like payment processing, licensing, services, and confidentiality.
- Interpret and apply local fintech and payments regulations, including virtual wallets, PSPs, acquiring, and virtual assets, with a focus on authorities like the BCRA and CMF.
- Help develop and implement internal policies related to privacy, data protection, and terms & conditions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate in critical corporate processes, including company formation, statutory modifications, and the creation of vital legal documentation.
- Your attention to detail will ensure that all company records remain in compliance and support our long-term goals.
- Assist with legal reviews for new market entries, partnerships, licenses, and business expansion efforts.
- Provide daily legal guidance to teams across product, commercial, and operations to ensure compliant, informed decision-making.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s degree or specialization in Corporate or Business Law. A focus on new technologies and the fintech industry is highly desirable
- At least 3 years of overall experience in legal roles with at least 2 years within the financial, fintech, or tech sectors, where you'll have the chance to bring your expertise to the table in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Bonus points for having worked in specialized law firms or as an in-house counsel at fintech companies, digital banks, payment processors, or firms involved with virtual asset services—your prior experience will be key in accelerating our success.
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape around financial services in Argentina or Chile (extra points if you've worked with both),
empowering you to help us navigate complex, evolving markets with confidence.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts within dynamic, high-stakes environments, where your attention to detail and strategic thinking will directly influence the company’s growth.
