The Lifeguard is responsible for supervising swimming pools and water facilities within the wellness club to ensure the safety and well -being of all guests and members. The role includes preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining high service standards expected in a luxury wellness environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Safety
- Monitor swimming pools, spa pools, and surrounding areas at all times.
- Identify potential hazards and prevent accidents.
- Enforce pool safety rules and regulations.
2. Emergency Response
- Respond quickly to emergencies such as drowning or injuries.
- Perform lifesaving procedures, first aid, and CPR when necessary.
- Use rescue equipment appropriately.
3. Guest Assistance
- Provide assistance and guidance to guests using pool and wellness facilities.
- Offer friendly and professional customer service.
- Provide basic information about pool rules and wellness club facilities.
4. Facility Monitoring
- Ensure pool areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Check water conditions and report issues.
- Monitor the use of spa equipment, saunas, and steam rooms if applicable.
5. Equipment Maintenance
- Inspect lifesaving equipment regularly (rescue tubes, first aid kits, AED).
- Ensure safety signage and emergency equipment are in place.
6. Incident Reporting
- Record accidents, injuries, or unusual events.
- Report safety concerns to supervisors.
