As Quality Improvement Lead, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality standards for our customers. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma–based improvement projects, reduce defects and inefficiencies, and strengthen our quality culture across the plant.
Job Description
- Lead improvement projects focused on reducing customer complaints, scrap, rework and machine downtime.
- Analyze process data (injection parameters, molding cycles, defects) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Act as the main interface between the Quality team and Sales for customer complaints and feedback management.
- Conduct structured investigations and ensure strong corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and optimize key quality KPIs, including complaints, non‑conformities and COPQ.
- Train teams in problem‑solving and quality tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, 8D).
- Promote a culture of excellence, standardization and prevention across the organization.
This role is key to enhancing product quality, improving process reliability and elevating customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Plastics, Production Engineering or related fields
- Broad experience in manufacturing, with several years working in plastic injection environments
- Experience in a Quality department and strong understanding of defectology in plastic parts
- Experience with drawing interpretation, measuring instruments and ISO 9001
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Proficiency in Minitab, advanced Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- English level B2 or higher
