We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Infrastructure / Plot Maintenance Technician to join our team in Muel, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our facility's infrastructure and outdoor areas, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all occupants.
- Perform regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Conduct repairs and improvements to infrastructure as needed
- Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping, parking lots, and walkways
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in facility maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions
- Assist in the development and implementation of long-term maintenance plans
Qualifications
- Technical degree or vocational training in facility maintenance or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure or property maintenance
- Proficiency in using various maintenance tools and equipment
- Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Understanding of landscaping and outdoor maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent)
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus
