Revolutionize the understanding of the brain through new personalized neuromodulation therapies, anywhere and at any time.As a Biomedical Systems Engineering Intern at Neuroelectrics, you will collaborate closely with our biomedical systems engineers to contribute to the development of EEG and transcranial electrical stimulation systems. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Assist in the product design history file documentation (system architecture, requirements/specs, risk management, V&V;, etc.).
- Assist in verification and validation activities.
- Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts both within the engineering department and outside of it to ensure products meet all requirements
- Collaborate with biomedical engineers in the translation of high-level market requirements to engineering specifications that are verifiable.
- Assist in the implementation of eQMS software .
- Conduct tests and experiments to support engineering activities involving obsolescence, new supplier validation,
and continuous improvement of specifications.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Engage in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
Must have:
- Currently pursuing a degree or Master's in Industrial, Systems or Biomedical Engineering.
- Ability to sign an internship agreement with your current university/institute and our company.
- Familiarity with common test instrumentation.
- Experience in Google Apps such as Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides & Drive.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Bonus points:
- Familiarity with MDR and FDA regulations.
- Familiarity with verification and validation activities.
- Prior internship or project experience in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrochemistry.
- Familiarity with EEG sensors design and characterization.
