Highly Professional is seeking an accomplished Data Center Manager to lead the operations of a state-of-the-art hyperscale campus in Madrid. This executive role offers the opportunity to oversee mission-critical infrastructure supporting general cloud providers and enterprise customers while driving operational excellence, innovation and strategic growth.

Your Mission

Provide overall leadership for the Data Center, ensuring maximum uptime, operational resilience, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across all engineering and facilities functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all day-to-day Data Center operations, ensuring 24/7 service continuity.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, maintenance and operations.
- Oversee budget planning, cost optimization and resource allocation.
- Drive compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors and key stakeholders.




- Lead business continuity planning and emergency response preparedness.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support future campus expansion projects and long-term infrastructure planning.

Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in mission-critical environments, including significant Data Center operations.
- Proven leadership of large engineering teams in complex, high-availability facilities.
- Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical and cooling infrastructure.
- Experience managing operational budgets and capital investment projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English;
Spanish is considered an advantage.
