In this role you lead the technical execution of HV switchgear projects from handover to completion, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. You act as the engineering focal point, coordinating multidisciplinary activities with PM, manufacturing, sourcing, services, and customers. You will review deliverables, drive technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers, all while advancing grid modernization and retrofit initiatives. This position offers engagement with general customers and a mix of on-site and remote work to deliver high-impact projects.

• Act as the technical lead for assigned HV switchgear projects
• Coordinate engineering activities across PM, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Sales, Services and customers
• Lead technical reviews, clarification meetings and engineering decisions
• Identify technical risks and drive resolution
• Mentor junior engineers where required
• Review customer specifications, grid codes and IEC standards
• Review and coordinate engineering documentation including single-line diagrams, protection u0026 control schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications and Bills of Materials
• Support retrofit and modernization projects
• Coordinate with factories and suppliers
• Support FAT, SAT and commissioning
• Monitor engineering progress and project deliverables
• Support Tendering during bid preparation
• Support site teams during installation and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with GE engineering standards
• Contribute to lessons learned, standardization and continuous improvement
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional experience in power systems and HV/MV switchgear or substation engineering in utility/EPC/TSO/power transmission environments
• Experience xqbhyrx with protection and control schemes, interlocking logic, and auxiliary systems
• Ability to read, create, and review electrical documentation (SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams)
• Experience using engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar
• Experience coordinating technical activities with Project Management, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Site teams in cross-functional, project-based environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel occasionally to factories, customer sites, and test facilities
