What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Junior Functional Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to learn and grow in an international environment. The adecuado candidate has a basic understanding of financial products, APIs, REST services, databases, and Agile methodologies , along with a high level of English (B2+) . Previous experience or internships in banking, financial services, or Capital Markets will be highly valued.

Location: 100% Remote only in Spain

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ROLE

-

- Gather and document business requirements under the guidance of senior functional analysts.

- Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end business processes.

- Collaborate with IT teams to clarify functional requirements.

- Prepare functional documentation (Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories).

- Support the definition, preparation and execution of functional and UAT test cases.

- Assist in project tracking, reporting and status updates.

- Work effectively with different business and technology stakeholders.

MANDATORY SKILLS

-

- Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn.





- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of financial products, preferably within Wholesale Banking (knowledge of FX, Fixed Income or Rates is a plus).

- Basic understanding of APIs, REST services and databases is desirable.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in an international environment.

- Language: High level of English (B2).

NICE TO HAVE

-

- Previous internship or 1-2 years of experience in banking or financial services.

- Exposure to Capital Markets or Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environments.

- Basic knowledge of derivatives or structured products.

- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
