In this role, you will lead materials engineering activities across FEED, EPC and detailed design, guiding material selection for process facilities, pipelines and offshore structures. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation while meeting ADNOC standards and relevant codes. You’ll mentor engineers and influence design decisions to drive corrosion control, coatings, and metallurgical excellence. This is a chance to contribute to large-scale oil, gas and petrochemical projects and the shift toward low-carbon energy.

• Lead and oversee materials engineering activities across FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases
• Develop and implement materials selection strategies for process facilities, pipelines, piping systems, static equipment and offshore structures
• Prepare and review material selection reports, corrosion studies, material specs, piping class specs, and technical requisitions
• Perform materials selection and corrosion assessments considering process conditions and project life requirements
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes (NACE, ASME, ASTM, API, ISO)
• Provide expertise in corrosion control, coating systems, cathodic protection interfaces, metallurgy,
welding requirements, and non-metallic materials
• Review vendor documentation, technical bid evaluations and material compliance documents
• Support HAZOP/HAZID, constructability reviews, value engineering and design optimization
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Inspection and Procurement disciplines for material selection and specification
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, vendors, contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor deliverables to meet project schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements
• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers to ensure technical excellence
Responsabilidades xqbhyrx
• Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years in Oil u0026 Gas or Petrochemical
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role on major Oil u0026 Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Experience with ADNOC and offshore projects
• FEED u0026 EPC phase experience
• Strong knowledge of material selection, corrosion engineering, metallurgy, coatings and codes (NACE, ASME, ASTM, API, ISO)
• Experience preparing MSDs, CCDs and material specs for offshore/onshore facilities
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary, multicultural environments
